Basic Pasta Dough
This is a basic pasta dough recipe, suitable for many different types of pasta. Perfect for working through your pasta machine.
BASIC PASTA DOUGH
500 g 00 flour
2 tbsp. olive oil
1. Place your dry ingredients in a large work surface in a mound and make a well in the centre. Add your wet ingredients into the centre of your flour and slowly use your finger tips to incorporate the eggs into the flour.
2. Keep working your wet and dry ingredients together until you have a dough. Kneed your dough for a minimum of ten minutes until it is soft and pliable. It will start of feeling a little course, but after a good ten minutes you will have soft silky pasta dough.
3. Wrap in cling film and rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
