Rabbits Ear Pies
Make Easter time really fun with these rabbit ears egg and bacon pies. The kids will love them.
No official recipe for this one guys, just a standard filling of cooked bacon, eggs, cream, grated tasty cheese, salt and pepper. To make the rabbits ears cut shapes out of a sheet of short crust pastry, brush with milk and half bake in an oven, remembering you are going to cook them further once they are placed in the top of the pie lids. Remove cool, then make incisions in the top of your pie lids and push them into the pies and bake until golden and brown. Don’t forget to brush your pastry with an egg or milk wash.
